Gravel'ish ride Sunday 20th
« on: January 19, 2019, 03:36:23 PM »
I was planning to go out locally on the tops tomorrow in anticipation of frozen going. However, as it looks like the current low cloud will persist tomorrow I will probably do a big cyclepath/canal loop instead. Starting in Crickhowell, up to Blaenavon on back lane, bike path to Pontypool, mountain road across to Crumlin then either the cross link to Abercynon/Taf Trail/Talybont and back down the Usk Valley or head down to Cwmcarn and pick up the tow path looping down to Newport then home via the canal, all the way up the Usk Valley. Anyone fancy that?

Cheers Graham. I'm nursing the, hopefully, tail end of another bout of lurgy, so something smaller, local and with chicken out options is on the menu for me.   ;) Enjoy.

This reminds me I have to get some sort of gravel bike soon. Hope you have a good ride!
