Christmas Eve Gower ride and pub stop
« on: November 29, 2017, 07:46:56 PM »
Any takers this year?

Just a shortish loop in the morning.

Meet at Bishopston Community Centre 9.30am, then lunch & drinks at the Joiners Bishopston.

I always get confused at this time of year in this country... Christmas eve is on the 25th right? So, the morning of Christmas eve would be early Monday (25th)? Or is it on the 24th?  :o

I might be a slow learner, but I know Santa is only around on the 24th!  ;D

If you listen to some of the people in my office I think Christmas eve is somewhere around mid-November and lasts until the year after...

I think Rob might be referring to the standard Christmas eve on the 24th however.  Would love to join but will be in foreign climes.  Well, England.

I shall hopefully, possibly, maybe plan the chance for an opportunity to grab a quick ride on Xmas Eve morning. Perhaps.

I'm in, Dom. As long as nobody minds my slow pace, inability (mileage & skill), wheezing, sniffling, coughing, and constant complaining.  ;) I think Graham's coming too.

Don't wait for me if I'm not there - I'm still coughing and spluttering and generally feeling horrible. And cursing the fact that it hasn't stopped raining since September.  :'(

You should have raced some cross this year Jon, I've been cursing it's not rained enough since September  ;D

Though I did manage to knacker a rear mech in Clyne today so I guess it's now muddy

See you all at Murton at 9.30 for a slithery loop or two with no added brambles on the menu this year.
