Thursday 16.11.17
« on: November 15, 2017, 11:30:07 PM »
I gather that the weekly velocepedic perambulation of Clyne Valley is upon us. Will there be others venturing out for slippy slidey jinks on two wheels?

Haha, no chance.  I saw sunshine earlier, therefore it is going to be dry and dusty all over.  That, and i'm hoping to be on a bike with some grip for a change so there will be no sliding around i am sure.  I shall join you for a ride on the dry stuff however.

My most desired dual suspended velocipede is with Dr Betts for some of his patented cures so not sure I shall be taking the air with you tonight, I may retire to my local Inn instead to mix with those of superior social graces and less offensive aroma..

Apologies to anyone I haven't offended, I've been very busy and will get to you as soon as I can.

I will not be joining the perambulation tonight. I will be attending a anniversary review of some minstrels who intend to entertain with stories of their many years traversing the globe, playing their mandolins and Uillean pipes.

Btw, I don't think you have to worry about the previous sunshine Tristan. The amount of rain currently pouring down will have restored any potential anomalies to normal Clyne conditions.

Phew!  Looks like the slip and slide attractions are back open!

Jon - sounds intriguing, who's that?

Chris - what a shame you don't have any spare bikes available!...  Or has Dr Betts declared quarantine on the remaining 600 or so options?

That's the spirit. Peer pressure 1, Chris's reluctance 0.

Just been listening to Oysterband for the last hour of work.  Sounds pretty good, enjoy Jon.  You should have asked them to move days though!

I'm afraid I won't be joining you for the Clyne perambulation on my velocipede, chaps. I shall be velocipeding on the weekend however.

How did the velocipedic perambulation fare last night, dear fellows? Did your new fangled metal hobby horses gather mud and slimy leaf detritus as the Conservatives harvest the souls of the working poor for the Great Beast (aka Rupert Murdoch)?

There was a certain element of that, yes.
