If you can read this then the forum is fixed and the forum software upgraded to latest stable release! 

Tapatalk has been updated/fixed too for those who use it.

It was a bit of a fiddle to fix and quite involved, so there may well be remaining glitches. If you spot one, perhaps you could post up here (assuming the glitch isn't that you're no longer able to post...) and I'll look into it when I have a spare minute.

Hopefully this goes some way to making up for my non-appearance at several recent dig-days...

When I was trying to sign in I entered the forgotten password option but didn't get an email.  Possibly that's an issue?

I can really sympathise - after 3 years back to back spending my spring in plaster, its extremely frustrating, fortunately as is was my hand, I did have some mobility. All the best for a speedy recovery.

I've noticed a couple of old threads where you've collected money for your expenses running the forum. Anyone of those still active, or is it soon time for a new one? I'd like to contribute!

Cheers David, I periodically renew the hosting and domain name, then ask anyone who wants to contribute to chip in with a fiver or whatever. Last time I renewed, I did so for a three-year period. I don't think that's up until next year (hopefully - I haven't actually checked), but I think it's fair to say I'm still down a few quid on last time so if you want to bung me a fiver then feel free!
