Bike Park Wales Saturday 4th & Sunday 5th of March
« on: March 01, 2017, 06:54:57 PM »
A couple of mates are coming over from London to ride Bike Park Wales this weekend, full uplift on both days. If anyone is interested in joining us let me know.

I was really hoping that Poppity Ping would be open but it seems not.

Yeah, thanks Steve, but I'm aware. We booked ages ago then they announced the mini enduro for the Saturday. It's from 2:30pm onwards and three trails will have rolling closures.

Not ideal but we'll make the most of it.

Yeah, managed to sort it out. It was the X-Fusion Lockx thru axle on my friend's Bird. I haven't used one before but it has a row of four chucks on the cam lever side that secure the axle. These had seized and weren't retracting so it wouldn't slide into the forks. After some effort and lubricant it eventually engaged.

How did your day go? Get some good pictures?
