I can't do it.  :( Family holiday. A bit of a gutter that.

You're always going on family holidays. What you need is weekend bonding with chums. Mud-chums. Nothing more, nothing less. Far more valuable thanspending time with horrible relatives yet another weekend driving around the Cotswolds.. ;)
I presume you're telling her?  :-[

Sounds good. private rooms are still quite cheap too! what are they like for bringing the bikes in?  :)
You only need two tools in life - wd-40 and duct tape. If it doesn't move and should, use the wd-40. If it shouldn't move and does, use the duct tape.

It's funny you should mention that Paul, as I'm just emailing them to ask that very thing. There is bike storage but we need to make sure it's secure and that there is enough space for all the bikes we'll bring.
If security and/or space is an issue I'm asking them if we can bring the bikes indoors.

Has anyone booked accommodation yet? I'm thinking of booking for me and my tent for the three nights.

Would it be worth trying to get the 4 person room between us?  My brother and I would be up for that so that leaves 2 spots.  Will camp if not but figure it gives a bit more protection from the weather in case it turns.

If you can suffer my snoring again after the Dyfi, then yes.

If anyone is interested in renting a shared room at the YHA let me know. Maximum of four people per room. Available shared rooms are limited so we better get on this soon.

Its 20 pppn for a shared room?

Hmmm, camping on my lonesome, or sharing a room with a bunch of farty, giggly old men? I'm leaning towards the tent.  ;D

The threat of my snoring alone probably makes the tent option worthwhile.

I really hope to be able to go, but won't know for sure until much later. If I can go, I'll use whatever option's available for accomodation at the time. Perhaps a romantic camping trip for me and the Bird ( :-* ) would develop our new relationship?

The "me and my Bird" joke will just run and run...

Has potential for social media advertising for the brand with photos on IG of men draped over their bike with taglines like, "me and my Bird are closer than ever."
Or, "Right after this photo I mounted my Bird."

I am up to a shared room, earplugs do the job.
Who is going to book the room?

I can book it now if the people who want to share a room can forward me the money for their beds.
