Any further ideas on where to go? I'm in favour of starting in an ale house/dive on Brynymor Road and on to a nearby Indian as it's a very short stagger home for me...

Yea that seemed to be the consensus yesterday.  Start in a pub that has no more than a medium chance of getting stabbed. When feeling sufficiently festive / inebriated start knocking on doors until we find a place that will: 1.  Let us in, 2. Serves food.
Around brynmor road works for me as it's extended stumbling distance home.  More than that i'm not sure.

What's swmb'd? She who must be dead? :o ;D

Concerned about either the joints you visit or the attention you attract, but yes, I'm up for this type of slick, detailed event organisation. If anyone is feeling particularly like getting in touch with their inner project manager, just name a hostelry and/or a time!  :P

When the missus asks where are we going, I'll just say "Wherever luck takes us!"  ::)

Quite frankly I'm beginning to find this a bit over planned and controlling.
Most of my nights out usually involve a long discussion in the centre of the road (usually in the rain) to decide where to go next and we get there, we leave 5mins later and usually end up where we left earlier. Then repeat the above.

You only need two tools in life - wd-40 and duct tape. If it doesn't move and should, use the wd-40. If it shouldn't move and does, use the duct tape.

It seems the Westbourne will be full of Swansea Wheelers too that night. (I assume you are going Saturday?)

I hope they don't tempt you over to the dark side.

Have fun.
