My brothers down next weekend and he's currently a seat post short of a bike. Does anyone have one I could borrow for a day?

If he's proper stuck he's welcome to borrow my old YT post and seat. It's the one with the bmx style fitting so won't take normal railed seats. All works but not comfortable to sit on for any length of time. Also quite a short post.

Is it replacing a dropper? Does that mean he doesn't have a quick release clamp? I think I have one of those too somewhere.

Does your brother know his seatpost is 'unavailable'?

Or perhaps, in a more direct fashion, what have you done to your brother's bike, Brendan?    ::)

  ;D

I think I've also got a spare one.

I've (quite unfairly) been accused of breaking things before but I don't think I've ever broken a Seatpost. How're they failing?

First one wouldn't return properly, so it was swapped out before the bike left the shop. Second one was leaking oil
