There's  some hope then, fingers crossed. I'm sure we'll see some drop out. Did you have to pay up front?

The day is looming!

Andy / Craig - have you made any plans to get up there?  Are you doing Sat and Sun or just Sun?

I'd prefer to lift share if that's possible.

I have a place now so going up with tent (not sure where yet) Friday morning, then if I have enough enthusiasm riding somewhere Sunday on the way back.

yay!!  ;D

That makes 4 which could really work for a lift share. Rob are you interested to do that?

I was thinking Friday, but not massively early. It's just a bit over 3 hours which makes it a shockingly early start for a Saturday  :-[  I could be tempted by a Sunday ride. The route is different from the one I did 2 years ago. There's other stuff on Long Mynd we could do.

Friday eve is good with me. Basically, anytime after work finishes at 17:30.
I've got a tent if we need it! Sure we'll be ok to find a campsite somewhere. Will have a look in work tomorrow lunchtime.

nice one!

I've got to get some spokes fixed on the bike - noticed it didn't escape Scotland unscathed!

I know its a long drive which would be a very early start if heading up on the day, so a Friday/sat camp would be better, and open to getting another ride in, if legs can make it!

Cool 8) there are some sites listed on the Batch Burner website. http://www.foxholes-castle.co.uk looks like an option.

Odd, but I just noticed Google is saying 2 and 3/4 hours to Norbury. Guess it saw some congestion  somewhere last time I checked! Still,  last time progress through the lanes to the village was really slow!

Shall I come up with you Andy if you have got the day off Friday, was hoping to go up earlier?

I have booked a campsite already.
