My New All Rounder
« on: August 07, 2013, 06:46:48 PM »
Well That's What I Wanted, But Saw This And Quite Enjoyed My Faith. Grabbed it off eBay as it looked like a good deal seems as though I got 600 for the Faith in January.

Fox DHX 4, hope M6 and M4 brakes, Mavic rims on hope hubs, Maxxis tyres, answer bars, raceface cranks and bottom bracket, XT gears.

That'll cope with some serious abuse :)
You only need two tools in life - wd-40 and duct tape. If it doesn't move and should, use the wd-40. If it shouldn't move and does, use the duct tape.

It needs a tree crash stability of at least 7.3 to deal with me.

What's with the Back On Track logo? Is that part of its heritage?  8)

Nah didn't know that. I don't pick it up until maybe Sunday so it's just what the other guy had on there.

The guy says he is in North Wales building trails, so who knows - could be!

Yeah definately. I'm pretty much free any night but might try and do weekends too and camp somewhere so I can get my surfing skills somewhere above the "fail" category.

When you thinking?

It's not Rowans old bike ....

Check out ... Bevstar ... On Instagram. It's his bike

He is the main trail builder behind Gethin and I know he is working on a trail in north Wales

Bevan no longer works for back on track, he has his own company now called trail craft.

Yeah he said he used to work with Rowan, now has his own company and he helped at the new bike park and has just got back from N.Wales. Think his name was Sean, but I'm probably wrong! Bike seems solid and compared to my old faith a lot tighter + bigger so will suit me hopefully. I'd say the bar setup seems low for me but I've been riding my MX bike so maybe that's why. Will have a quick test tomorrow on the end of the Brechfa Red before a pub lunch!

Could do with some bits of TLC but seems as though I got 600 for the Faith, I'm pretty happy with it for the price (touch wood!).
