So what you doing Steve? Spray gun?

I'm on my second attempt of rattle can !

First attempt was a disaster ! Took almost 3 days of sanding spraying drying spraying drying exec etc .........

Only to find out on day 3 when taking the wraps off, my thumb smudged the paint work  >:(

Must have not given the base coat enough time to dry as the paint was just moving under pressure of my fingers !

This time I went to the 'paint shop' at the Hafod for advice .....
So ..... Heartbreakingly I took all the paint off and sanding right back to the metal !
Three coats of primer this time Over 24 hours ....
I've now emptied a rattle can of professional gloss paint ( taken over 24 hours with heaters and blowers )
I'm now going to let it all dry tonight and apply the decals in the morning then spray 2k clear coat for added luck !  ;)

I've never had a nose full of black boogies before !

Fingers crossed the decals will stick  :)

Can't wait to get out and ride now ! ...... Be good to catch up with you again mate ;)

Doing the Dyfi Winter Warmer on Sunday. http://www.mtbpigs.co.uk/forum/index.php?topic=1817.0
Fancy that? 12/20/28 mile routes. Trail centre based XC event with some nice descents. Hoping the snow will still be around!  ;)

Nothing wrong with my pimped bars ;)

Just a reminder to you all...... Do not ask me to do any DIY  >:(

I took the 'rebound' red knob off the bottom so not to get any paint on it, however I also removed the crush washer ........ The one that holds the fork fluid in ...... Doh !  :o

Now booked in to have a service to change the oil and seals on a brand new pair of forks !!!  ::) ::)  ::) ::)

I will ride soon !
