Wow, looks like some big numbers tonight!  ;D  See you all in a bit!

Cheers. I'll be making my way down shortly. Look for a short young bloke on a hardtail :')

Planning on heading down early to get a few bonus laps in.  Probably get to the dry stuff about 7.

Cookie - there's a big wooden sign in Blackpill car park near where Mumbles road and the Clyne cycle path collide.  There will be a bunch of riders there between 19:15 and 19:30.  Feel free to say hello and i'm sure they'll show you round.  Make sure your lights and brakes are working as both are useful!  I'm sure someone will demonstrate later when one or both fails.

I'm new to this group and have never had a chance to go to clyne riding. I know where the car park is but not much else. Anyone fancy being a bit of a guide to me would be much appreciated :) If I can make it that is

mine does about 32 mpg

ahhhh, I can only dream...
:D :D ;D

Yea, i was thinking that if the bolt head isn't deep enough then on clockwise rotation it might only be putting pressure on the lower bolt which will then unscrew from the thread without the top bolt providing resistance.  Will find out Sat!

What part of the bike are you talking about?? <scratches head..>

Don't worry about it Jon, just note the solution is to take a welder to it. Do you want me to fix your Intense?
Talking of that bike, bring that tonight if the Boardman's out of action!  :P ;D

If only you had another mountain bike you could use Jon...

If only! I shall try and spray lots of lubey stuff in the generally correct direction and see if I can stop the unbearable screeching of seized bearings. Also, my lights are fully charged but last time I was out they both failed.

Who is this Andre person btw?  ;D

Hello Andre! It's been mostly warm, dry and dusty while you've been away
