Haha - I think you need to get with the times Dom.  Bren's been out more than you this last month!

If I'd known that,  I'd have MTFU'd and ignored my shingles, cancelled my prior arrangement to go to the cinema (oh, I already did that!) and I could have joined you on a Thursday ride Dom!  ::)

could have joined you on a Thursday ride Dom!

Possible in theory I believe Andy, but I think that the presence of others observing this phenomenon would have forced us to default to either a 'Dom' state or an 'Andy' state for the duration of the ride.

(Just a little joke for the quantum physicists out there)

Interesting theory!  :o ??? Shall we call it the Domdrewburg uncertainty principle?

I was thinking 'quantum rAndDom-ness'...

Subtly different of course from another quantum characteristic we're all familiar with - i.e. thinking you've spotted someone who said they'd be riding with us, but then almost in an instant they're gone and you never see them again for the whole ride. This is of course the 'Robserver effect'   ;)

Of course! Yes! Far more accurate! These phenomena are of course linked. It's like the Tristan stop-go wave theory which observes that when an imaginary operator is applied (maintenance), Tristan's brakes and drivetrain have an contra-opposed probability of working at any one time.

I would contend that any statement which includes the words 'Tristan' and 'maintenance' in the same sentence is highly theoretical and unlikely ever to be provable by experiment.

I would suggest, given the derogatory and quite frankly untrue statements being bandied about, that it be moved elsewhere.  Namely the bin.

All this talk and I might develop a reputation!

I recall one ride where Tristan, Mike and myself set off down a tech track on Kilvey and at the point where we went between two trees - a slot, you might call it - our paths diverged and we all ended up on separate trails. Are we particles or waves? Why does this not happen in Clyne? Have the bears eaten quantum uncertainty?
